Angry place. Not a good experience. Cashier hated me for ordering a hot chocolate.I have no idea why. Lots of glaring,staring and attitude over something simple. Cakes looked great but I was scared to ask about them in case the cashier became even angrier. Was late in the day but it would be really great if people could keep their mood together until closing time.

Lovely local restaurant witha great vibe. Decent selection of foods and drinks. Staff friendly, didn't feel rushed. We had brunch and a couple.of bottles of wine. Good value and would recommend it.

A lovely café with a warm, cozy atmosphere. The space feels calm and welcoming — perfect for a relaxed coffee break or a quiet conversation. The coffee was very good. The highlight - cakes were delicious — every single one was beautifully made and tasted even better than it looked. There’s also nice outdoor seating in Kollwitzkiez, making it a great spot to enjoy coffee on a sunny day. Service was friendly and unhurried, which added to the overall experience. A great place to slow down and enjoy a simple, well-done café moment in Berlin. ☕️🍰🌿

We read a lot of negativr reviews about the service here, but to our surprise, it’s been amazingly friendly. The waitresses are extremely kind and they even treated our dog with love and care and yes dogs are allowed inside. The interior is warm and lovely, the restrooms were absolutely clean. The Strassbourg breakfast was very good, with lots of fruits on the side. The bread baskets can be improved with maybe a few more bread slices but other than that everything was great. Wonderful staff!

We had such a wonderful experience at Kaffeehaus SowohlAlsAuch! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the cakes looked absolutely stunning — but what really made our visit unforgettable was the incredible service. Our waiter was outstanding. We had someone in our group with severe allergies, and he went above and beyond to carefully check ingredients, and help us find the perfect cakes. It took a little time (over 10 minutes), but he never made us feel rushed or like it was a burden — just the opposite. His kindness and attention to detail meant so much to us. And the cakes? Delicious. Every single one was beautifully made and tasted even better than it looked. Highly recommend this place, not just for the wonderful treats, but for the kind, thoughtful people who work there. We’ll definitely be back!
