Best winter drinks! Always great, friendly vibe, the place has calm and uplifting aesthetic. Laptop friendly. *Now serving “actual food” only on weekends. *Mars bar is very tasty but very peanutty (less “Marsy”)!
Delicious, diverse, delightful! As a first-time customer with rather finicky preferences - I ordered the "Fruhstückmaus" mix-plate to try out lots of bits and bites. Out of the maybe 20+ vegan plates like this I've tried in Berlin, it definitely is in the top 3! Each mini-dish was distinctly flavorful and fresh, the gluten free bread was dark, perfectly moist and you get a MUCH more generous portion of it than any other vegan/veg place I frequent or dabble at in Berlin. The cakes + sweets looked great, sadly I was too pleasantly full after the mix plate and a fresh ginger and mint tea, again with MUCH more generous bits of them than any café I've been to. Service was sweet and friendly, decor doubles as an art gallery (love it!). The only "complaint" would be the entire meal was soy-heavy...would love to see different protein sources like lupine, cashew, seeds, etc. And maybe something fermented? Oh, and I was missing the standard schoko spread that comes with most vegan mix brunch plates (at least in my Berlin world :) ). What would it take, Prince Peach, to sneak that in there? ;) Lastly, the mix came in assorted bowls and baskets on a giant black slate instead of the usual overcrowded plate...well-done Prince Peach! :) Eater's Tip: They offer a fresh OJ + mixed plate for a slightly gunstiger deal - again something I haven't seen elsewhere (usually these drink deals are very coffee/tea oriented).
Really cute vegan cafe. Yummy and fabulously served healthy sweets and coffee. Highly recommended!
I went to check out this relatively new vegan cafe as I used to love going to the previous owner of this place (Plant Base). Curious by the good reviews, it turned out to be a rather disappointing experience: The shakshouka was barely spiced and I‘d have liked some sweetness (no options other than sugar) in my mocha. Croissant and breakfast burrito were decent, but nothing special. Besides that, having run out of fruits at 12pm on a Wednesday was quite unfortunate. I also found the interior more appealing and more welcoming at Plant Base than it is now. Although I really like and support their proactive-queer approach, their actual purpose as a cafe serving satisfying food failed in my experience.
This place is everything🫶🏻✨ the atmosphere is so comfy and relaxing, very nice to sit and have a chat in there. Everything’s vegan and very tasty, specially the brunch burrito: the scrambled tofu was amazing😮💨 would definitely recommend!!
