Got overcharged (price did not match the price label) and the cashier refused to issue refund and sent me to the meat section, even though the meat was packaged just like any other goods and I was too tired to stand in another long queue. Be careful when you shop here.

I’ve been shopping here for a while now. Today the staff was so rude it made me so uncomfortable, particularly the Asian woman seems to hate people. And also the German woman working across from her at the cashier. Do they not want customers? Because if that’s the case, it’s working. I don’t want to shop there anymore.

I've been a member here for about six months and I've waited to write this review. First, this is probably the only decent grocery store in Berlin if you want to buy every day "bio" fruits and vegetables, dry goods and meat... the Denn's Bios (AS YOU KNOW) are like over priced convenience stores with a bad selection of fresh produce and no meat counter to speak of, for example. LPG on kollwitz has a really well-stocked selection of very high quality fruit and veg - it doesn't rot immediately, it will hang in your fridge for a week and often more, and I rarely take anything home and find it was quietly rotted or expired (which happens ALL the time at Edeka and other standard grocers). The meat counter is genuinely quite good and not unreasonably priced and they have a great selection of dairy, vegan products and especially dry goods like pastas and beans and snacks. They do not offer sufficient "large format" items (like large bags of rice or large jars of mustard) in my opinion and you will find that sometimes they are inexplicably out of certain things - for example, chicken is delivered to the meat counter on Mondays and Wednesdays midday, so if you go first thing Monday a.m., it's gonna be empty. I think everyone who works here is cute especially when they are grumpy, which, where do you live?? This is grouchy-town and frankly they're pretty much as nice and helpful as anywhere else and there's loads of employees who will help you find things. Oddly great selection of kids stuff upstairs including clothes and socks where you can always pick up a last minute gift for a baby and then finally, the CAFE is amazing. I take my kid here all the damn time. FREE pasta on saturdays for little kids and honestly the hot lounch there is about 7 to 9 euros and it's a helluva deal.

Very rude cashier. I wanted to have a membership card at Bio Market for a bigger discount, but when I found out it required canceling and rescanning my six items, (and the market was not crowded)the cashier, knowing I don’t speak German, rudely told me to pay immediately and leave in German. I bought the items without a discount and won’t be returning.

Good supermarket, we went there for years, but some staff is so rude it’s not bearable anymore. The asian woman working there is evil. She regularly bosses around the customers, for example when cleaning the floor and they are in the way. Also she swears around loudly even in front of her colleagues. Today I witnessed how she alarmed the whole staff about a customer that tried to use someone else’s membership card when shopping for them. She literally screamed over to the bakery counter that they should refuse their card. Ok refuse the card but not this attitude. Wondering who hires such staff…
