While exploring Mitte, my wife and I came across a brunch spot on Google Maps called Love at First Bite. Honestly, we chose it because of the name and a few photos posted by the owners. It’s surprising there aren’t more guest photo reviews — pictures truly help travelers decide where to try something new. Reviews can absolutely elevate a great place. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted immediately and seated without delay. We ordered a latte and a detox drink — both were exceptional. The detox drink in particular was fresh, vibrant, and genuinely delicious. Our waitress, Chiara, made the entire experience stand out. She was warm, engaging, and effortlessly welcoming. She shared that the café has been open for six years, which says a lot about consistency and quality in a competitive city like Berlin. We ended up talking about Germany and other cities we’ve visited — it felt like a relaxed, enjoyable conversation rather than just placing an order. When she returned with our dishes, the name of the restaurant suddenly made perfect sense. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and my wife chose the French toast. Both plates looked like they belonged in a culinary magazine — beautifully presented and absolutely mouthwatering. Flavor, texture, freshness — everything was on point. Clean space. Friendly staff. Stunning food that tastes as good as it looks. But what truly made this brunch memorable was Chiara. In a busy restaurant, she made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and valued. Service like that deserves recognition. If you’re in Mitte, this is a must-visit. Come hungry — and prepare to fall in love at first bite.
Amazing coffee, spicy chai, and a killer brunch 🥞☕️🔥 We really enjoyed this breakfast spot. The chai latte was excellent — tasty, fragrant, with a nice punch of spice. The cappuccino also felt really original; it genuinely tastes like they brew/roast their own coffee. Food-wise, the Nashville Chicken Hot Sandwich was a banger: super juicy inside, with cabbage and pickles adding a bit of freshness. My partner had the Eggs Benedict with salmon — they smoke their own salmon, and it was very good, perfectly cooked. We finished with the “Love Story” pancakes, and they were really tasty too. Just a heads-up: it’s a bit crowded inside, but we still managed to fit a stroller. And it’s definitely on the expensive side — for two of us (two dishes + one pancake to share) it was €57. Everything seems organic, so I get where the price comes from, but it’s worth keeping in mind. Not an everyday spot, but a great treat.
So this cafe / brunch place is one of the most talked places in berlin. You will always see it in top 10 when you google for brunch places in berlin. So its hard to find a table and recommended to reserve a table. The atmosphere is nice. Its crowded and thez make fresh so prep time is need so brung time. The food is nice and enjoyed it worth the hype cant say but cannot complained. The savory waffle dishes i found unique We loved all top things. The biscoff desert is bit over ratted
we had the shakshouka & pancakes. it was absolutely delicious! the shakshouka was seasoned so nicely - one of the best i‘ve ever tried. biscoff pancakes were really exceptional, the batter was not sweet at all so the sweetness all came from the biscoff. unfortunately the matcha wasn’t the best, but the barista was so friendly that he switched it to orange juice. one side back was that the indoor seating is narrow and crowded. highly recommend and would definitely come again! i also recommend to make a reservation.
This place was AMAZING! So good I went there twice during my three night stay in Berlin. The menu and quality of the food is out of this world. Fantastic quality food a halal. I was in Berlin running the Marathon and this place was most welcome. I had the chicken and waffles, pancakes, my bro had the chicken burger with Nashville sauce - damn it was good. This place is a must try if in Berlin. It gets very busy during peak period so try booking a table. Staff are wonderful, friendly and service on point. The food was reasonably priced given the quality.
