Great place for breakfast and brunch. We went there twice in a row. They have cool mugs and very tasty food: both sweet and savory. The barista speaks perfect English. Very welcoming.
Although the bakery is spacious and offers a variety of food options, we were treated poorly by one employee in particular, who was extremely rude and impolite (I would even say aggressive) when he informed us that the bakery was closing and that we should leave immediately, as we couldn't stay a minute longer. This was said at a table where we were sitting with a baby, in a café that aims to welcome families with children. A deplorable and revolting way to communicate with another human being.
Consistently friendly, opens early, good quality. The staff training is clearly good. One of the few places where I feel comfortable speaking German to the staff as they adapt their pace and do their best to make you feel good.
Decent place to start the day. One of the few place that opens early. Before 9am doesn’t seem to be the time for Berlin people. 😄 Great breakfast options! Unfortunately, the Strammer Max is made with diced ham, which was not quite my cup of tea but there is plenty more to try here… 😁
The place is very comfortable, spacious and really nice. Although it does not have WIFI, you can both work there comfortably and sit down to read or write in peace. It has a very nice space for children to play and the staff in general is very helpful. The coffee is good and the pastries are superb. I really recommend this place being one of my favorites.
