Delicious home made food by a very warm owner. This is a rare place in Berlin

A true gem. One of the only places left in Berlin where you will find home made food. The restaurant is located in the courtyard of a flats residence on a quiet street, 10mn from the u-bahn station Kottbuser Tor. The menu changes everyday, with a vegetarian option, and meals cost around 5 euros only! (Drinks cost 1 to 2 euros). The place has a homy feeling to it as there is only one person, a kind old lady, that cooks and serves guests. The restaurant is open from 12:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday. If you want some real thai food, go there on Friday, a special Thai cook makes mouth watering meals with fresh handmade drinks at unbeatable prices.

Great name, great idea. And don't just go by the outer fassad. Like so many German places, this one has an inner hidden life. I really liked all the greenery. I was a bit taken aback at the oldness of the spaces. However, the concept is appealing...so I may go back.
