French dishes, including breakfast, cakes, croques & galettes, in a charming venue with a terrace....
I had a very tasty goulash cooked by Maisa. She also served me a fresh orange juice and a great coffee. Maisa was kind and attentive, and I can tell the food is homemade and made with love. Such a special place, truly.
We ended up in this café by chance because the one across the street was full. At the entrance, I asked if they served breakfast. An older woman gave me a disapproving look, and when I asked again, she snapped, "Obviously." I already wanted to leave, but the weather was bad and we were hungry, so we stayed. We ordered the New Orleans breakfast, and an omelet with salmon, and wanted to eat crepes after breakfast. I asked if we should order it later or now, and they said now. Crepes arrived first before breakfast. Then the omelets came out quickly. About 10 minutes after we finished eating, they finally brought charcuterie plate and juice, it was a part of the breakfast set. But no bread. That came another five minutes later. Honestly, wouldn't recommend.
Had brunch time food here. Quite eatery, Food was tasty and very reasonably priced. 3 lovely life experienced ladies working who understood & spoke English. Coffee hit the spot too. Would recommend
I found this place by chance, as it was just the opposite to the hotel...and as all discoveries are often by chance, this was i nice place to have a delicious omlette with bacon and a cup of lavazza under the breakfast format :) and the owner - she is such a nice and smiling lady! Give it a go and n-joy :)
The food itself was really good, we tried for the first time croque monsieur and croque madame as well as a sweet crepe for dessert and it was all was delicious. The service, however, was a little messy and slow, seems like they are not used to working at a high pace during peak hours. All in all, it was a good experience though.
