I went there because of the good reviews, hoping to enjoy a great cup of coffee and get an hour of work done on a Saturday. After opening my laptop - having already ordered my coffee - I was told to stop working. The rule behind this was incomprehensible (and the sign was not visible), and the staff’s behaviour was very rude. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.

This is one of our go to favorite cafes in the neighbourhood. The owner is a gem, truly passionate about coffee, customer service and his clientele. We were some of Ercan’s first customers and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet. I can’t praise this place enough. The prices are great, the location is unassuming and yet perfect. The terrace is great, full of sun even in winter, and the food is homemade by his family. The coffee is always specialty, the owner always has a kind word for everyone 🥹

Had a nice afternoon stop here on a rainy autumn Saturday. The Apple-cinnamon cake was superb, the coffee was spot on, and the service was quick and friendly. I'll be back next time I'm near Südstern.

I've been here multiple times and it's my favourite coffee shop in the area! Whether I want to bring my notebook and get some work done from a different place or if I just want to have a nice breakfast, this place has not failed me so far. Service and food are both great!

Good coffee in berlin is as rare as cafes are common. Thank goodness here they make a basic coffee to a basic standard. Better than averages cakes add up to a song you are familiar with, sung in a welcome key.
