Café Mom & Son

Café Mom and Son is one of those places you walk into once and immediately understand why it’s always packed. The food is absolutely outstanding—everything tastes incredibly fresh, and the bread alone is worth the trip. You can clearly feel the warmth and hospitality that comes from the Turkish roots of either the mom or the son; it comes through both in the service and in the generous, flavorful dishes they serve. The atmosphere is lively (and often quite full), which just shows how many people choose this café over anywhere else. The only area that could be improved is the coffee, which feels like it hasn’t quite caught up to the amazing standard set by the food. Overall, a fantastic spot with heart, personality, and truly delicious food. Will definitely be back!

Love this cafe :) it’s family run, and you can feel it! The coffee is great, they have beautiful quiche and other delicious options. Most importantly, the employees are friendly and welcoming. You can’t go wrong here 😊

Such a wonderful place ran actually by a mom and a son! Quiches are amazing, and from what I can tell, baked fresh daily, as all the other items are! Get there early, minimal selection even by 12:00, but it makes sense because the food is so damn good. Plenty of seating inside and outside near a quiet street by the Botschaftkiez.

Last day in Berlin and decided to try this cafe for breakfast before heading to the bus station. It is a cozy restaurant with friendly atmosphere. Price is great. We had 2 sandwiches, avocado and eggs, and the salmon. Both tasted well and fresh. I will definitely come back to this cafe for breakfast next time we come to Berlin.
