Café Lycke Lunch

This is a very special place!! If you are in Berlin do NOT miss this gem of a cafe! The owner/cook prepares the daily specials with only the freshest and most wholesome ingredients. Everything is made with LOVE and is beyond DELICIOUS!! Thank you, Lycke Cafe!! I will miss you but I WILL be back!!! ♥️

Everything is made from scratch and home cooked. I stayed at the Aletto (a phenomenal hotel) and came here everyday. Of course I’m familiar with the Michelin starred restaurants and delicious Vietnamese food in Berlin but this cafe blew my mind. I’m coming back for the German cheesy pasta and wish I discovered the flourless cake earlier.

We shot a music video across the street at Kühlhaus Berlin and had a couple meetings at Café Lycke during the preparation. The coffee, cake, and sandwiches were delicious, there were vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, and the service was wonderful. We hired them to cater the three-day video shoot and the food was tasty, Sara was a pleasure to work with, and I would hire them again for catering in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!

Great atmosphere, good coffee and I can definitely recommend the carrot cake. Out of this world. The staff is so friendly and I just love the Turkish rugs on the wall.
