Café Luise

Great café with a lot of choices. I had the omelette with potatoes twice and really like it. The first time it was very fresh, the second time it was a bit drier. The coffee I’d give a 6.5/10 - could definitely be better. For me, the best thing about this place is the seating. There are plenty of comfortable spots, from more private corners to nice seats by the window. Most of the staff seemed friendly, but one woman looked tired and a bit angry, which didn’t come across as very welcoming. Also, nobody spoke a word English. Which is sometimes a bit frustrating since Germans often start speaking their own language when visiting the Netherlands, and we try to adapt/help, but the other way around, you sometimes get looks like, “Why don’t you speak German?” Customer service wasn’t that great, and it felt like they didn’t care much about helping us with breakfast options. The food itself was pretty good and affordable for Berlin standards. Therefore I’d recommend this place if you want a quick bite before heading into the city and know a little bit of German.

A great spot for snacks or breakfast with a convenient location. The indoor space is spacious, offering a variety of seating options, including tables, couches, and quieter corners for chatting or working. The food is delicious, and the breakfast options are reasonably priced—generous enough to satisfy even two people. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed a nice stop for coffee and cake. Nice atmosphere with great art and delicious pastries.

Coffee, croissant and pretzel were really good. We got extra freshly squeezed orange juice for free. Bathrooms not really nice. The staff kinda neutral.
