Café Lucré

Cupcakes there are heavenly good. They are so delicious. Choice of cupcakes is pretty impressive. You can also order a customized birthday cake there. This place is mostly for takeout desserts. There are some tables, but it is placed in the middle of a shopping centre.

Café Lucré in Mall of Berlin offers above-average cupcakes that are worth trying. The cupcakes are beautifully decorated and visually appealing, with a good selection of flavors to choose from. Right as i was about to sit down, the waitress came running up to me and yelling at me ( in a broken german) telling me i was not allowed to sit here. When i asked why she wouldn’t give me a reason or let me speak to anyone else. She kept insisting i move even after i Said i wanted to order, she told me i wasn’t allowed to order anything. She was attacking me in a very aggressive way and hovering above me getting very close to me. I asked to talk to her manager because I wanted to know why I am not aloud to order, so she finally took an order for a coffee which by the way taste very bad( on purpose or not), one of the worst experience in Berlin if you are a POC maybe better to avoid this place… Somebody wrote a comment on this review ( probably the waitress) which is absolutely not true, she was neither kind nor polite, she was aggressive and rude and denying to take an order from me even though I kept saying I would like to order! Finally ( after 3/4 minutes attacking me) she said you can order but not that I think I can just order a water! So I asked what kind of a tea you have?( because it was listed on the menu as different sort of tea) she replied: I don’t know! And then I ordered a simple coffee not to get into further arguing with her! Other tables were occupied by non POC’s which were treated very well. So do not comment lying about how differently people are treated in your so called cafe.

I liked the cake compared to other places I tried. Looks really good and tastes ok but not moist. Was very dry. Little expensive for the taste 25 euros for a small cake and 50 euros for little bigger cake

It’s hard to miss This tiny place just next to ramp in mall of Berlin, Absolutely tiny cafe with cute cups for coffee and cakes , Cupcake are fresh and coffee is good , Has very very tables to sit under the stairway but always busy. Definitely give a try in busy mall
