Was walking to the East Side Museum and needed a break. Popped into this coffee shop situated in a very interesting dining district. One of the best coffee I've had in Berlin. Definitely worth stopping by and may even be worthy of being a destination itself.
Such an awesome place! Very cozy and whimsical. The coffee is delicious and the chocolate love cupcake was super good too!! The girl serving me was a sweet heart too!! Super nice. Would recommend going here!! (PSA there’s a super cool teledisko infront of the cafe aswell if you want a boogie :) )
A real gem inside the market, authentic interior design made with care. Coffee is good and carrot cake is soft and sweet. There’s also chess board and some games to spend some time :)
They don’t take cash, only card. Ambiance is amazing, very cozy! Chai latte is amazing, best I’ve had so far anywhere. It is a tad bit expensive though, but it’s fine! They give you a token with your glass that is good for 1 euro deposit if you bring your glass back, they don’t really explain that though. Put the token in the tip can, because I didn’t know what I was supposed to do with it.
There are times you enter a place that has a character. This is definitely one of those places. Every wall, chair and relic has its own unique character. The drinks are quite good as well. We enjoyed sitting there and enjoying our coffee (and reading our books). I think you can sit here and work too which is an added bonus. I can’t believe I live 5 mins from here, have been to the Holzmarkt 100s of times but haven’t been here as yet. Well, I’ll be a regular from now on. What a lovely place (and lovely people)
