Stumbled across this 'hidden' gem yesterday after a long, hot day out. Such a beautiful place with a perfect ambience. The staff are really lovely, very welcoming, friendly and attentive! The coffee was really good and the cake was exceptional. So pleased to have stopped by here and it won't be for the last time.

Outstanding Kaffee und Kuchen (especially the cheesecake). Coffee was strong and enjoyable, not sure what the previous reviewer has been smoking... Definitely worth a detour if you're in the area.

Lovely café in a peaceful setting.

The coffee is exceptoinally weak here, this was really disappointing especially after reading the great reviews of this cafe and going out of our way to try it. When I asked for it stronger I was charged for another whole espresso drink so a very average cappuccino ended up up costing me nearly $5. Cakes also got great reviews but the chocolate one we had crumbled into dry sawdust on the plate. On the positive side the setting is lovely and peaceful and the bathroom is very clean. On balance though the products we drank and ate were the only bad ones we had in an entire week in Germany so it felt like very poor value given the abundance of great cafes in the area. So maybe just stick to tea and quiche at this one and go elsewhere for coffee and cake.
