Alte Forno Cafe

It takes a special skill to blacken the edges of a pizza while leaving the dough wet and the toppings barely warm. Service was friendly, but I struggled to eat much of the pizza. A ‘siciliana’, the chicken was at least cooked, probably several days before. While the base was wet and soggy, the thin slices of courgette were dried and anything but succulent. Nice shop, friendly people, but the ‘pizza’ was pizza in name only.

We came here quite late around 23:00 and it was still open. They have quite variety of pizzas and pastas. It is halal as well. We took chicken steak with mushroom sauce and lasagna. Both were very tasty, however, lasagna was having a bit too much sauce. The restaurant was clean, service was good and washrooms were also clean. Can come here again.

Cozy Cafe with a whole lot of variety for tea. They serve you the tea with lime and sunflower seeds. The staff is very nice. You can sit inside as well as outside. What I personally find interesting is that they have blankets on some chairs outside that you can use if you feel cold.
