The assortment of pastries is correct and the place works like a farm, where you can have coffee or beer and eat pastries or small or large sandwiches that are good. Neighborhood place with non-touristy prices. Friendly staff who need to be taught that, in the country of the customers, a professional must serve them in the customers' language.
I wouldn't recommend it at all. We bought two Saras, and they turned out to be dry and hard. The almonds were also over-roasted, giving them a bitter taste. Just look at the photo: inedible, and on top of that, €4 for a mini piece. Very bad!
I went and saw a cake that looked good (a slice of red velvet), and to my surprise, when I took it and opened it, it was extremely dry and hard (no exaggeration). Maybe it had been made two days ago? The girl didn't warn me and wrapped it up just like that… I was very disappointed. The flavor itself is… okay? But the quality of the cake is deplorable.
Good pastries and good products, the service is very friendly, the only "but" is the coffee, that's why I don't give it 5 stars, although finding a good coffee in Barcelona is already a difficult task.
Everything was delicious, the place was very nice to be in, and the price was good.
