Stayed at hotel Great pre cruise stopover

Cruise terminal nice and excellent located. However our cruise 🛳 ship experience was not good. Staff of Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady were not organized. Confusion 😕 over which line a sailor was supposed to enter. They could be more organized.

What a beautiful area. Very busy and vibrant city. We stopped downtown for a quick lunch and were overwhelmed by the street beggars. We were amazed the business owners allowed these people to harass their patrons while eating. We felt safe in the main areas and walked around after eating. Beware of pick pockets at all times.

Easy way to get onto your cruise!! Beautiful port shopping and eating within walking distance.

Quite unknown for locals, it is a strange destination to visit by choice since it remains far from anything touristy in spite of being located at the water front. Mainly a working & business area, it offers also a premium hotel and a few restaurants and bars. On the upper levels you'll find benches facing the harbor, nice spot for a rest and some tranquility. Not very well connected except for a bus line and taxis.
