went to the one near the UB (not on google maps for some reason?) and got a donut that was frozen on the inside. π def a let down but its a chain so what did i expect. Considering there are so many wonderful independently owned coffee shops right around it (and everywhere in Barcelona for that matter) I donβt know why I chose this and would not go again.
I am rating based on my one and only experience. I walked in because the place poked nice and I needed to use the restroom. Ordered an espresso and small chocolate donut. It was delightful and the price was right! The lady in the counter let me use the restroom while she prepared my order and was very diligent. Thereβs also great wifi, awesome Air Conditioning, and great seating here with available electrical plugs, so itβs probably great for people looking for a pace to work with a laptop and have a place for a bite and drink of sorts. Also, the restroom, while small, was very clean which is always a good thing.
Usually I like this chain, good products, big variety and fair enough prices. However here today I was treated quite rudely. I asked for my coffee and food to eat there, not take away. I think I mentioned it 3 times, and the staff even asked me twice - and yet they still couldn't get that right, while also being quite rude to me. There were maybe 3 people there with me, so it's not like it was full. Very strange behaviour, honestly

I recently dined at this restaurant and, regrettably, the service was far below expectations. The staff appeared disinterested and unwelcoming, which was particularly disheartening. This lack of attentiveness extended to my elder family member and child, making the experience even more disappointing. In a competitive market, customer service is paramount, and establishments that fail to prioritize it are likely to struggle. The indifferent attitude of the staff overshadowed any potential quality of the food, resulting in an overall unpleasant dining experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes necessary improvements. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to those seeking a respectful and welcoming environment.
