Classic Spanish bites & wine in a trendy space with patterned floor tiles & exposed-brick walls....
I unfortunately did not have the best experience here. We got here at 2:15 when this place was going to close at 3. We only wanted a glass of wine and were seated accordingly. The wine was good, and reasonably priced. The service though was not so great. We were told we have 40-45 mins to finish up. And maybe 15-18 mins before closing the server took our glasses away. We had only a couple of sips left each, but he wouldn’t even let us finish, just took them away. If it was 5 mins before closing, I understand. But we paid for our wine, we still had 15-20 mins, but he just took them. Very rude. I won’t be going back.
A small corner with so much heart. The staff is always warm and attentive. Their vermut and tapas are excellent! A little gem you’ll want to return to again and again.
PATATES PUIGMARTI absolute must-try!!! 💯 Potatoes sounds boring but this is really unique - boiled (instead of usual fried), with amazing sauces and spices, it was so so good we ordered 2 portions for only 2 people 🤪 Of course the other tapas was amazing and very value-for-money too, we really enjoyed the "Cod fish with Kimchi" which was a wonderful fusion of flavours with soft tender cod meat, and also "Smoked Sardines with Butter and Green Pepper on Bread" (may not be the correct/exact name) was delicious too. Vermouth (drink) was homemade (I think, per the name "Vermuteria") and a favourite too! Small but cozy interior, with nice and prompt service, really superb food and overall experience, do visit 😚
Tasty homemade vermouth. The dark one had a more interesting flavour, the pink one was my preferred thoughts it was slightly less sweet. Smoked cod tapas was delicious. 22 euros for three drinks and 2 great tapas was a bargain
A must visit place for tapas lovers. The menu boasts an impressive selection of house-made tapas that are sure to satisfy any craving. From traditional Spanish favorites to innovative creations (try - tuna with kimchi 😍), the flavors are rich and the presentation is impeccable. Very friendly personnel. If you're looking for a delightful corner to enjoy some tapas - it is the place to be.
