Drink was refreshing. Deserts behind the display case weren't real. When asked for a mousse cake, I was told they weren't able to make it for me. Unclear if that was due to lack of ingredients or if they were unable to make the dessert. Either way, it felt a little misleading.
This shop is definitely among my favorite bubble tea places. The flavors are spot on, and they offer a wide variety of choices β from milk teas to shaved ice and even desserts. My absolute favorite is their fresh taro milk tea, and they really make it delicious. The taro tastes authentic and gives the drink such a rich, satisfying flavor. One small downside is that the restroom and some of the seating could be cleaner. Other than that, everything else was really great, and Iβd happily come back. Honestly, I donβt understand why the overall rating is lower than it should be β the quality here really deserves a higher score.
Do you like Western desserts or Eastern desserts more? In general, I prefer Asian food. But not for desserts. I think I'm too used to stronger sweet flavors and I'm not too fond of the milder and less sweet Eastern ones. π€· On the contrary, my son, who loves sweets, has been eating both Eastern and Western sweets forever and I think he loves both equally. π And, as most kids, he loves bright colors (I guess that's why he often orders Smurf gelato π€’). And I must admit that Asian desserts look brighter, nicer and funnier. π€© An other issue for me is the quantity of dairy in Asian desserts. Most of them are full of whipped cream or cheese so not for me. π Many years ago, I took my wife to Tasmango dessert and I was super disappointed cause there was pretty much nothing I could order. π So I never went back until a couple of weeks ago when I took my son there thinking he would like it and, maybe, there would be new products I would like. π€ But no luck. π They just had a few mochi. The rest was all whipped cream. So I only ordered a couple of mango banjis (1 for my son and 1 to go for my wife). A banji is a piece of π₯ topped with whipped cream then wrapped in a thin pancake. They were cute, colorful, well executed and with a big chunk of good mango inside. I tried it and I didn't like it because of the whipped cream. So I won't give any pinion, that wouldn't be fair. The only thing I can say is that both my wife and my son loved 𧑠them and that I found them quite expensive: β¬6 for 2 pieces of 2 (adult) bites. I'm happy my family enjoyed that dessert but, TBH, I'm quite frustrated I couldn't find anything for me... π Quality & taste: n/a Quantities: 6/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Originality: 9/10 Ratio price / quality: 6/10 Service: 9/10 How I felt afterwards: 8/10
Boba in Spain was excellent and this spot was a great spot to get a good drink. I just ordered their brown sugar boba milk tea and it was delicious. Excellent on a nice warm day & it was pretty filling. My favorite flavor at most boba shops. Iβd definitely come back here again in the future to try their other menu items.
We ordered matcha millicrepe and a mango drink with coconut mlik. The millicrepe was amazing but I was a bit disappointed about the drink coz it tasted more like mango with jazmine tea than mango and coconut milk but it was ok. They made some redecorating and the place looks a lot more prettier and more cozy than the last time I visited. The matcha milicrepe was totally the highlight of the visit.
