Seasonal tapas, salads & small plates, plus cocktails, in a narrow space with eclectic decor....
Food was mid, the nuggets were not good so don’t recommend. The location and atmosphere are super nice. The waiter was a bit grumpy and not too friendly (maybe he had a bad day…)
Myself and husband have been coming here for 8 years, always been a lovely experience and atmosphere, 29th November we ordered a drink, then was told to pay bill as it was 6 o'clock. When given bill by different waiter I questioned it as 1 to meny drinks . He was very rude and asked me not to speak to him like that???? Really I was just asking a question. We both only had 1 drink he then approached me as he finished shift and accused me of being drunk and told me to have respect for Spanish people, absolutely bell end if we was in UK no way would he have spoken to a woman with disrespect and insulated a customer. Obviously little man syndrome. We've always recommended this place NEVER AGAIN, all the time he is working there. Please avoid the little waiter, not the 1 with glasses on as he was plesent
I was hesitant to sit here because of the bad reviews, but we were pleasently surprised. The food was pretty good. We ordered avocado toast which was delicious, and burgers which were also good.the patatas bravas where a bit too oily, but I've seen this in so many other places. The beer was fresh and cold. The service was great and tgey ere very nice and helpful and patient with us and with our kids. I've seen this place in a hectic state during the weekends and and summer evenings, with so many people waiting for a table and can understand why the staff would be stressed, but going there on a weekday during the afternoon was perfectly relaxed and enjoyable. The prices seemed very normal and in line with other locals around, and the portions were generous, so don't agree that it is a tourist trap.
Not the most outstanding tapas I've had, but it does the trick. I liked their patatas bravas though, nice and crispy! Food was served quite quickly and service was good, but the server could bear to check on the customers a bit more. Took us a long while before we could get his attention to get the bill.
I honestly can't stop talking about this place! If you're looking for somewhere with real locals, an undeniable charm, authentic ambience and amaaazing food to top it off then this is the one! The aesthetic is just brilliant, wven for a quiet Monday and the staff are so so welcoming! This was a truly perfect little bar to stumble upon and you'll wnjoy every moment. As an added bonus the menu is varied, they catered my shellfish allergy so well and it's vwry reasonably priced!
