Santagloria

A very popular corner cafe/bakery/coffee shop. Plenty of room to sit in and enjoy coffee and croissants which we had.

Cheerful cafe at the top of Sarria belonging to Santa Gloria company, one of the biggest of this chain. Zen atmosphere based on wooden tones and big glass windows. Wide array of pastries, sandwiches and other sweet treats including the original croissant of pistacchio. Good spot for a group breakfast. It has some tables on the street, some covered and others on the pedestrian corner that goes to Sarria's market.

Freshly made sandwiches - the smoked salmon avocado came in thin freshly baked baguette- highly recommend

We stopped at this corner cafe to stock up for a hiking excursion in Collserola. Lovely outdoor terrace seating, delicious baguette sandwiches, phenomenal cream-filled croissants and very friendly & helpful service. Coffee was good but standard, definitely not specialty coffee level. However the ambiance, service and amazing pastries make it worth a visit.

Very cozy and well maintained place. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Coffee is great and the pastries are really fresh and their taste is exceptional. There is enough seating both inside and outside the cafe. Place is also clean, modern and applying all covid19 measures. Prices are acceptable.
