Old School

I stopped in on my second yet final evening in Barcelona, having skipped lunch due to an upset stomach, and the empenadas at this little bakery were precisely what I needed. The crust was tasty, but not heavy. The filling was sublime. I also got a slice of carrot cake to take back to the hotel, but I could not resist it upon arrival. It was a fantastic slice of carrot cake. The music gave a nice vibe, and staff were quite friendly and spoke English well. I only wish I were staying longer so that I could go again.

Good breakfast and coffee especially. We've ordered croissant with scrambled eggs and truffle souce and one empanada with miced meat. Both were really good, we enjoyed them. Prices are average so highly recommend this spot, nice atmosphere.

The staff are great aside from the food being super tasty! I had to get a bit from my toasty (bikini) before taking the pic cause it was looking marvellous 😍 the place is also dog friendly which makes my life way easier when walking with my dog 🐶 and craving for some good meal. Super recommended. 5 stars. I came back to Old School to try the empanadas after a walk with my dog. It was absolutely super tasty ! A beer to follow is super recommended 😍

Great place to have an afternoon coffee or a relaxing breakfast! Everything is homemade and the staff is amazing! If you have a sweet tooth I recommend you try the they have the original alfajor and two with a chocolate twist!
