Nice cafe. The staff was extraordinary, the drinks were good. As for the food: the chicken sandwich and all the sides were excellent, avocado eggs Benedict was pretty good, basic. Although it did come out cold.

I discovered this lovely place by chance while passing by and stopped for a coffee. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I truly appreciated how they care for pets 🩵— there’s a small house for cats inside and food placed outside for them. I always admire places that show kindness to pets. ☕🐾

This is one of the best experiences I had at a café/restaurant in Barcelona. From the cozy vibe to amazing drinks, there was nothing not to love. The highlight was the staff. Even though we were on the packed upper level, our waiter provided impeccable service while she was constantly on the move taking orders, clearing dishes, and checking in on her tables. The food was rich and on the better side of prices compared to what we had seen elsewhere. The owner was delightful and took the time to make everyone feel welcome even though it was quite packed while we were there. I highly recommend Novela to anyone visiting Barcelona.

Highly recommend this place if you’re in Barcelona or live nearby. I ended up coming here two days in a row for brunch, honestly wished I had a bigger stomach so I could try more. The food is delicious, portions are generous, and I was full for the entire day. Prices are very reasonable, and the juices are so good, definitely don’t miss them. The staff are super friendly and welcoming too. Will 100% come back next time I’m in Barcelona!

A terrific find! We stopped by for brunch and enjoyed our visit. We were surprised to the nod to Thanksgiving! My husband had the Thanksgiving Eggs Benedict. I had the halloumi eggs Benedict. Both were outstanding. The bloody Mary was the best! Overall a great experience! Thank you for a great start to the holiday season!
