I was looking for an early breakfast before a tour and came across La Flek. It felt like a humble local bakery with a helpful and polite staff. I had the 2 mini xiuxo and coffee combo, and tried out the bikini (the local version of the croque monsieur) out of curiosity. I only had the time to enjoy the bikini and my coffee before having to leave for my tour in a hurry. The staff were kind enough to bag my remaining xiuxo to go. If youβre looking for a simple no nonsense bakery with very reasonable prices, I would give La Flek a try.
Very friendly staff despite all the business at the time (around 11:00 AM). Very loud and difficult to find a table but if you simply like take-away, this place is ideal. The smoothie might be a bit pricy for 4,95β¬ even though it tasted well.
The bread and sweets are delicious, and we couldn't have been happier with the fresh juice smoothies that we got. The inside looks more like a school cafeteria, but the food more than makes up for it. Try this place!
This is a small bakery, c de Balmes 25, near the Rambla de Catalunya and Gran Via de Corts where you can get a quick and delicious breakfast. They have fresh pastries and sandwiches, as well as any coffee you would like. It is small and cozy and captures the flavor of a local Barcelona spot. If you are on the go and in the area, stop in for a fresh snack or small meal.
They have a lot of options, good prices, nice location, good food and fast service! But the inside of the cafe is a bit sad and boring, so Iβd rather get take out next time.
