La Barreta del Barri

I forgot to write a review right away, but I just had to! I recommend this spot 100%. The owners are super friendly and clearly have a passion for sharing great food. The tapas were incredibly delicious! It’s a perfect mix of Spanish cuisine with an Italian touch. Honestly, the best patatas bravas I’ve ever had! And I really can’t emphasize enough how kind the staff was.

I came for a late breakfast, the woman behind the counter was super nice. It is a neighborhood space where people go so talk, catch up and have a delicious bite. I had a tortilla española and a coffee and everything was delicious.

I was there with my family a few days ago. It was a perfect experience and will be a great memory from Barcelona for us. It wasn’t just about the delicious food, but even more about the especially kind owner. My 12-year-old son even said it was clear that running the little bar was probably her dream come true.

A very warm, welcoming place! We had a sandwich and Aperol Spritz — arriving right at closing time. The owner was super friendly and gracious when she could have sent us on our way. Delicious and a great experience. Highly recommend!
