Granier

This is my first time visiting Barcelona and the food and staff at Granier is fantastic. The service is 100% great and the atmosphere is warm and relaxing. Will definitely return and its a great stop when in Barcelona!

Came here to get a coffee and empanada I asked politely in my best Spanish. I was just met with a rude man (manager) who just seemed pissed I was there. I don’t know what I did to annoy this man but the whole interaction was cold, which is the opposite of every other interaction I’ve had in BCN. I think depending on where you’re from will be the indicator of the level of service you’ll receive. Disappointing.

Ok for a quick stop for a coffee and pastry. Prices seem to be very low to me. Tastes alright and good to take on the go.

In terms of the food nothing to say, the croissants and the piece of cake we ordered were delicious. However the service was anything but satisfying. It seems the waitress were in a rush to the point that the croissants were served in a bag while we had told them we were going to eat inside. What was weird is that the place was not even overcrowded to justify them somehow.

Stop by for a quick breakfast and the staff was really polite and even though they didn’t speak fluent English they try their best to accommodate me which I really appreciate. I highly suggest anyone in the city looking for a nice place with good coffee and some pastries to stop by this location.
