Fun atmosphere with excellent service. We were greeted quickly and shown lots of delicious options. My sandwich and chips were delicious. Lots of people buying loaves of freshly baked bread. Fun atmosphere on a busy pedestrian street. We ate inside, but outside tables are offered.
Great breakfast spot! Omelette’s, toasts, pastries…and a selection of coffee’s and tea. I loved their cortado and Catalan bread. Xavier was amazing and explained most of their menu to us. There are 2 Puiggròs locations along this street. Both are great!
Perfect little bakery right on Avinguda Gaudí, steps from Sagrada Família. On a rainy morning we stood inside with my daughter enjoying, simple, warm, and so authentically Barcelona. The pastries are delicious, prices are fair, and the atmosphere is cozy even when busy. Great quick breakfast spot for families before exploring the neighborhood. Highly recommend.
If you're near La Sagrada Família and you'd like some sweets and coffee, I recommend this place. Good pastries and coffee and very affordable. Also a nice lady to welcome you. There are no seats inside, but outside there are plenty of benches to sit on and relax.
It is my first time to Barcelona and there was a lot of food choices around but this felt more inviting so I came here. The owner is a very charming, friendly and patient man who spoke several languages and greets every customer in the same warm manner. He patiently explained the menu and recommended the best food I have tasted so far since arriving in Spain. The dishes sound simple but the flavours are big. I wanted to let him know how much I truly appreciated the food he made but customers were coming in so I hope he will know of my thanks here. I had the horchata (which I did not know was only drank in summer!), torrada page (jamon iberico) and ensalada (salad with cheese, nuts, almonds, olive oil). Whoever comes to Spain needs to try his food at Forns de Pa Puiggros ♥️
