Cute coffee and brunch spot — and if it’s sunny outside, it’s a 10/10! The staff were really nice, smiling and happy (which is honestly a bit unusual for Barcelona ). The food was great too: good portions and everything tasted fresh. Also, you can pay by card, which is always convenient. Definitely a lovely place to stop by!
This is my go-to cafe in Barcelona, everything I have tried on the menu is great, from their toasts to salads to coffee. The terrace is lovely and the staff is friendly.
We've waited long enough for a menu that I get up and grab some myself. It feels slightly criminal - like pouring your own beer from behind the bar. It's busy but not frantic. "Five more minutes and we're leaving," my girlfriend says, hunger stripping away diplomacy. I'm starving too, but we have developed a coping mechanism where only one of us can possibly be upset at a time, and since that's her right now, I smile and remind her we're in Spain and it'll be worth the wait. I order the winter special tomato soup. The waitress nods. "It's really good. I have it sometimes." This thrills me more than it should. Like being quietly endorsed by someone with better taste than you. I tell my girlfriend that restaurants should just tell you what to eat instead of pretending choice is a gift. We agree the real solution is simply that everything on the menu should be worth ordering. The soup and toastie arrive. The cheese is sliding off the bread. "The cheese is ridiculous, isn't it," the waitress says, and she's not wrong. It's obscene. Maybe it's the hunger, but dragging that collapsing toastie through the steaming soup is better than anything I've dipped into in weeks.
This little brunch place is located right next tk a park in a beautifull street. The staff is very friendly and nice. My boyfriend ordered toasted cheese bread, its fresh toasted bread filled with three cheeses with roasted potatoes.I ordered roasted tomato soup with nacho cheese filled bread. It was delicius. The soup was small but the whole meal was very filling. Highly recommend.
Friendly staff, amazing food, and a great vibe. We had lunch after checking out the book fair, and we were hungry. We ordered the Mozzarella sandwich and chicken sandwich, and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was really fresh and tasty.
