The hot chocolate was amazing and not expensive given that they are inside Casa Amatller. The seating area outdoors is really nice and you can see the back side of Casa Batllo. It’s a nice place for a quick break during the day.

Best brunch and Chocolatte in Barcelona. I went there 2days straight .

⸻ If you are planning to tour Casa Amatller anyway, this is a perfect spot to have lunch. The ticket includes your meal, their famous chocolate dessert, and the full house tour, so it ends up being a great value. The food was fresh, the chocolate is truly worth trying, and the whole experience feels very “Barcelona.” If you get the option to sit outdoors in the little courtyard, definitely do it. It is peaceful, pretty, and adds so much to the atmosphere.

This place under sells their amazing chocolate!!! The thick hot sipping chocolate is the best we found in Barcelona or Valencia. it is curious to me that it does not have any more prominent position in their marketing because it is what makes this place unique and worth coming to. Otherwise it’s just a Starbucks in a pretty building. If you’re going to visit Casa Batlo right next-door you definitely need to take a break right here In theory, you can make this chocolate at home by buying some of the bars in milk. We bought some and have yet to try it.
