El Plat Pla

In Barcelona we're overwhelemed with, on the one hand, chain coffee joints and, on the other, cringe hipster coffee/brunch outlets. Merciffully this place is neither, the vibe is family friendly and cozy. I had a coffee (ok) and half bikini (good). Nice china too. I'll be back

Every time I visit Barcelona, I choose this place for breakfast. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is tasty and fresh, and the atmosphere is really nice. I truly enjoy coming here. The prices are fair for the quality you get. I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the city.

I discovered this cozy café while looking for a study spot, and it’s perfect! The autumn vibes and charming décor immediately caught my eye, and the coffee cups are adorable. The coffee itself is rich and high quality, the staff are super friendly, and the Wi-Fi is strong — a great place to study or just relax.

Cozy atmosphere but half of a small ham and cheese sandwich with gluten free bread was €3.75! Literally one small half of a small sandwich. Very dry no butter- otherwise, a nice place for groups especially in their outside area. Would go again but not order food.

El plat pla has quickly become our absolute favourite spot in Barcelona for coffee and delicious food while visiting the city for a chess tournament. The family that runs the shop has been incredibly welcoming, and their warmth has made us feel right at home. The food is always fresh and mouth-watering, offering a wonderful mix of classic favourites and traditional Catalan dishes that have been so exciting to explore. Not to mention, the coffee is fantastic! To satisfy our sweet tooth, we enjoyed freshly baked cookies and our daughter's favourite, the Mango Smoothie. We found ourselves returning each day to the welcoming atmosphere created by the whole team. We highly recommend it and will return to visit the next time we are in Barcelona. Thanks, El plat pla!
