El Alfarero Coffee House

We were staying nearby and came here a handful of times for a coffee or bocadillo. No frills kind of place, friendly service, and the sandwiches were fresh and tasty.

If you happened to be in a hotel in this neighborhood...this place for a Spanish breakfast. Top!!

So cute and delicious place. I went twice back to back. The empanadas were delicious and they offered a variety of options. I loved the Chicken ones from Argentina. The tea and coffee was delicious as well. My overall experience was great. The staff was nice as well and greeted me with a smile which was greatly appreciated.

I had a chocolate croissant and oat milk coffee—both were alright, nothing great. Funny enough, the plain croissant cost more than the stuffed one, which was a bit surprising!

Great local spot for coffee and breakfast! Do yourself a favor and skip the hotel provided breakfast and come here! The coffee is special, 100% Arabica Colombian beans and my cafe con leche was superb, only to be slightly beat by the chicken and beef empanadas. I will be dreaming about returning here someday!
