Without a doubt, the best panettone in town. And also one of the best I ever had, anywhere. Babka was good too, even though I found it a bit dry. Some of the dishes we had for lunch were very nice, like the carbonara with artichokes, some were just okay- like the polenta, and the pasta with salmon and zucchini was not my favorite- there were a lot of big pieces of under cooked garlic, the zucchini lacked flavor and the salmon chunks were cut too big. A bit overpriced for what it is (pasta and polenta), but I would eat that carbonara again. The panettone liquor they have (and that I was excited to try because well anything panettone is a must π) was disappointing- it lacked the kick, didnβt really feel like a digestive, but more like the mooshy soft version of one. Friendly service and (might sound like a weird observation) clean bathroom! (quite a rare thing these days)
Pet friendly and human friendly! The coffee was sooo good, smooth and right temperature ( I donβt like strong coffee or cold latte, this was perfect cafe au lait with half a shot!) the atmosphere is great inside and outside under beautiful trees and looking at the Sant Antoni market. I will come back to try the pastries with my Elizabeth soon!
Italian food sapiently revisited with craft and innovation. High quality. Friendly staff. Good wine and draft beer. I come here every time I am in town, you should do it too.
My personal favorite eating establishment. The food and service were excellent. We ate there 4-5 times and it would have more had I found it sooner. The owners were so nice, the food excellent, tasty as well as fresh and a few homemade items and well worth a visit. Yum! One afternoon I left my coat, the next morning they remember us and I got my coat back, then a few days later after another wonderful breakfast, and headed out to Park Guell via the metro we got to our stop and I realized my phone was missing. I went back to Dual Cafe to see if I had left it there and thank goodness they had it. I was so grateful for their honesty, willingness to struggle through our poor attempt at their Spanish (Catalan) language, the amazing food and friendly service. I just wish I lived closer. California to Barcelona a bit of a trip.
Very nice cafe with friendly staff and fast service. Food is £-££, very reasonable. Would recommend getting a flat white, they have great coffee here from only 1 euro 50! Great to pop in and start your day in Barcelona.
