Ciutat Comtal did not disappoint! We ordered the grilled squid, honey cod (so good we got two!), churros, and the torrijo. Everything was absolutely delicious. Fave is the honey cod which stoodout: perfectly cooked, flavorful, and memorable. Great food, lively atmosphere esp with our kabayan waiters, and definitely worth the visit. Would happily come back!
Sami and Eduardo are so kind to us. And all the food is so delectable that we enjoyed our meal in this restaurant. Thank you for all your service. It was very thoughtful that the associates in this restaurant are so kind. Also the mood in this restaurant is so cozy and good. I love this place. It couldn’t be better. Thank you for all again. Best regards.
This restaurant is extremely famous, but we happened to walk in comfortably without a reservation. There, we met Samiyy, who gave us excellent menu recommendations. He suggested wines that perfectly matched what we were looking for, and we were very satisfied. It was a truly fun and enjoyable experience. The service and hospitality from Samiyy and Edu were outstanding. It was the perfect place to spend a wonderful evening in Barcelona. The wine Samiyy recommended was one I really enjoyed, and the octopus he suggested was one of my favorite dishes. He truly understands what customers want. Thank you for giving us such a memorable experience in Barcelona. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend ordering the foie gras steak, pulpo (octopus), and honey cod here 🥰
We visited this place twice and at different times. The first time we visited was around 23:00 on a thursday and the 2nd time was around lunch time. It’s definitely very busy during peak hours (lunch and dinner). We were walk ins and didn’t have a reservation. The 1st time we went we were seated right away but the 2nd time we waited about 30-40mins. food is great!! 10/10!! Definitely get their patatas bravas. Service was great! Staff were friendly and welcoming! Highly, highly recommend getting their famous dessert— Torrija de santa teresa! It was so delicious. Would definitely comeback
This was my first time trying tapas, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the codfish with honey; it was so good I wanted to order it again. The seafood was very fresh. I arrived around 6:00 p.m., so there was no wait at all, and the staff were friendly and provided great service. If you’re visiting Barcelona, this place is not to be missed.
