The place is relatively large, but there was only one waitress running around trying to serve all the tables, which clearly wasn’t enough. People waited a long time just to order, and some dishes were left sitting on the counter getting cold. What felt quite uncomfortable was that other staff members were eating behind the bar instead of helping, and eating in front of customers is not something I’m used to seeing. We ordered eggs Benedict and pancakes. The food itself was good, although the pancakes were a bit dry. Another unpleasant experience was the gender-neutral bathrooms. I had to exit the restroom into a line of men waiting, which felt uncomfortable. Overall, the food was good, but the management and organization were very poor.

Everything we ordered was amazing, we got Choco pancakes, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict and a burger. They were all fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Best brunch in Barcelona!

Enjoyed late sharing brunch of avocado eggs and greens piled high toast with basil oil which was delicious along with vegan overnight oats with seeds pomegranate and apple . We tried 4 of the super fresh and delicious home made house juices also . The chai later and cappuccino were also very good . Day two we returned for fried fren tomatoes and asparagus dish with eggs ,mushrooms and bacon . The staff are very helpful and friendly and as a big foodie I would very much recommend this quirky setting and well thought out menu for the perfect breakfast snack lunch spot . Great stop of your visiting the Picasso museum or major shopping locations just mins walk away !

Citizen Cafe never disappoints!! The food & coffee is all delicious, you really can’t go wrong. Today I got the Oeuf sur le plat which is my new favorite. Also, the vibes inside are amazing with nice wooden tables and good music. It’s both a perfect place to eat with friends or to go and get some work done.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED THIS MORNING! I stopped in here today looking for a coffee but found great healthy options on the menu. I had the overnight oats, orange carrot ginger juice and a latte. Everything was delicious. The juice was just what I needed to heal my body. The atmosphere is very chill and the waitress was very nice to me. Definitely would come back!
