The worst churros and porras I've ever eaten in my life
As a drop-off point, I wouldn't recommend it at all. The hours are very limited (only from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM), and the two sisters who run it are extremely unfriendly and completely unsympathetic when a problem arises. A few days ago, I went to pick up a Vinted package. They scanned the QR code, indicating they were going to look for it, but then the girl who helped me (Ana) said she couldn't find it and started scanning all the packages she had there. In the end, they wasted my time, and Vinted even tried to charge me because at some point the package was marked as delivered… when I hadn't received it yet. Today I went back to politely ask if they knew anything about the shipment, understanding that sometimes there are problems with the carriers. However, the way they treated me was deplorable, bad enough to warrant filing a complaint. As soon as I walked in, the woman (the mother) started insisting several times that I buy churros. What is this, Turkey, where they pressure you to buy something you don't want? When the daughter who had served me last time arrived, the mother started yelling at her, saying that "the other one," Toñi, would take care of it. When Toñi came downstairs, the three of them started arguing about what had happened, and in the end, Toñi ended up yelling at me and saying she didn't care what happened. It's a shame, because the man who also works there is very kind and always tries to help in any way he can. But, from what I've seen, I'm not the only one who's had bad experiences with customer service at this place. In short: I don't recommend using this establishment as a pickup point. 👎👎👎 Update: After seeing the response, I can only say that your opinion of my review is the same as the one you posted on the photos of the place. Cynical, like the girl from The Exorcist 🤦🤦.
Looking up a churro shop on Google Maps and seeing a picture of a defecated toilet as its cover photo is hardly the best way to introduce yourself. But the funny thing is, the owners uploaded it! Then you see the reviews and you go somewhere else to get churros. What terrible taste, seriously...
Terrible churros, as hard as a Sunday without money. At home, we agree with all the negative messages directed at the establishment. The clerk couldn't be more unfriendly.
I just went to get €2 worth of churros for my mom and me. The few times we've bought them, it's been at La Campana (THE BEST), but to avoid walking, I went to the one across the street to see what it was like… oh my god. She took the churros she had in the window, already made, and even had freshly made ones behind them. I asked how many came for €1 because we didn't need many, and the woman said it was 5 churros, so I got up the nerve and told her to give me €2… The result: the photo shows 5 cold churros and one that I ate cold as soon as I left the churro shop… how shameful… that a churro shop that's been around forever doesn't care about giving you cold churros… I was absolutely stunned…
