Cafès Caracas

A little neighborhood coffee shop with lots of kind locals serving strong coffee, delicious foods, and an awesome awesome proprietor. I'm so glad we saw the reviews to try it. We ordered cafe con leche, a xiuxo ("chu-cho" - donut-esque croissant filled with Catalan cream), canya de xocolata (croissant with a thin layer of chocolate inside and partially dipped in chocolate), tortilla served in pan con tomate) and a bikini sandwich (16yo dd approved!). Everything was absolutely delicious (xiuxo, I'm especially going to miss you!!!). So so good and I'm sad we only found it now as we're leaving.

Lovely coffee & sandwiches

Great little, authentic feeling cafe. Nothing pretentious, just good coffee and a range of breakfast snacks, sweet and savoury. Cafe con lèche, small tortilla sandwich and chocolate croissant, 5.30. several tables on the pavement. Pleasant way to start the day.

Best coffee in Barcelona! Love this place. Very friendly and authentic. I didn't try the sandwiches but they look great. The pastry I had was delicious. I came here twice during my stay in Barcelona and will always recommend it. Many thanks!

Small traditional cafe, simple but good breakfast, very good coffee! Very nice and friendly service!
