Cafe Apolo

We arrived and nobody greeted us. We started looking at the display window, and the waiter at the bar wouldn't let us continue looking at the food on the counter. He demanded we sit down at a table and wait... honestly, he was very rude. The sandwich was delicious, to be honest, but then when we were leaving, it was more of the same. We said goodbye, and he gave us a very serious look and a "meh" in response. Anyway, it won't happen to us again because we won't be back.

No real choices except Iberica ham. Not a good restaurant for me.

Just returned from a short break and we were staying at the Innside Apolo next door but one and popped in here for a drink on the way back to the hotel - so glad we did. We then went for breakfast each day for a Combo Mixto - ham and cheese croissant, fresh orange and coffee for €7.95. delicious. On an evening we had a couple of glasses of sangria each and shared a toastie for a grand total of €19.75. Service was spot on whatever time of day and the whole place is spotless. Would definitely recommend.

Scam! They're a bunch of crooks! We ordered two bottles of cava, pointing to the ones on the menu, at €2.90 each, and an Americano. The waiter brought us the cava and the coffee. We drank them. When we went to pay, we were shocked to find that the price of the cava was listed as €4.55 each. Furthermore, the coffee was an extra-large size (something we hadn't ordered). When we complained, he told us that because we had consumed the drinks, we had to pay the exorbitant price. I asked why the cava was listed at €4.55 when the most expensive cava on the menu was only €4, and then he showed us another menu (which we hadn't even seen) with this even higher price of €4.55. They insisted we pay because we had consumed the drinks. As if I could taste the rip-off. Unbelievable. That crook of a waiter knew exactly what he was doing: SCAM. At no point did he ask us if we wanted the expensive cava, or what size coffee we wanted. Horrible. And the most insulting thing was blaming us for the scam because we'd ordered products we hadn't ordered. I had an emergency and didn't have time to ask for anything. I just needed to go to the bathroom, and they wouldn't let me! I'm very surprised by the staff's behavior! I don't think it's right to not let people go to the bathroom, saying it's for customers only!
