Brunchies

We went to Brunchies for breakfast and had an amazing experience. I ordered the Avocado and Stracciatella on sourdough, which came with seasonal mushrooms, roasted cherry tomatoes, pickled onion, and pine nuts — such a perfect combination of fresh and rich flavors. The avocado was creamy, the stracciatella added a lovely touch of indulgence, and the mushrooms made everything feel hearty and earthy. My companion went for the English Brunchies, a generous plate with smoked bacon, sautéed spinach, tomato, mushrooms, and a perfectly fried egg served with sourdough on the side. It felt like a modern, slightly lighter take on the classic English breakfast — comforting but not heavy. The espresso and latte were also excellent — smooth, strong, and clearly made with care. On top of that, all the staff were super friendly and attentive, which really made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

This is my first time in Barcelona and this place is gorgeous. Even though one of the ladies couldn’t speak in English, we understood each other and laugh about the situation. The design of the place is minimalist, the food is delicious. I can recommend it if you want to have a brunch in a great place with a kind vibe.

We went to Brunchies on Sunday morning after watching the Camp Nou opening game, and it was one of the few brunch places near our hotel close to the stadium that was open. After a process of elimination we ended up queuing even though we hadn’t planned to go, but it was definitely worth the wait. The café has a beautiful, vibrant interior and great vibes that make it feel welcoming and cozy, which was a lovely surprise as soon as we walked in. The staff were very friendly and made us feel genuinely welcomed, and the food was consistently tasty, visually pleasing, and well-made

If you’re a fan of brunch and coffee, Brunchies is a MUST! I had the drowning eggs which were two perfectly poached eggs in a tomato bisque with feta cheese and a yogurt sauce. We also tried the Brunchies sandwich which was perfectly done meat and a runny egg on a great, soft bun. We didn’t try the coffee (the mimosas were great) but each coffee that came out looked well done! A must try!

This place is the perfect spot for a brunch outing — absolutely worth every moment! The menu offers so many tempting options, and everything we sampled was simply outstanding. Don't forget to leave room for the delicious desserts you won't want to miss!
