Tried the breakfast burrito, açaí bowl, and Basque cheesecake. All were delicious! Nice cozy atmosphere and good service. Would definitely recommend this place.
I arrived at 9 am. for breakfast, and I got a table right away. Very smiling and friendly staff. I ordered Next Level Avo Toast, a flat white, orange juice and Cheesecake pancake. All very good. Cozy place.
Amazing food & service!! Cappuccino & Avocado Toast with Eggs & Halloumi was what my wife ordered. I ordered the Shakshuka with Iced Latte. Both dishes were really delicious, & the service is really prompt & the food is so fresh. A memorable breakfast for our time in Barcelona, Spain! Thank you to Ashanti for serving us, very friendly demeanor & made this a welcoming environment.
We went to Brunch & Cake mainly because of the Sagrada Família view and the high Google ratings. As expected, the place was very crowded — we waited around 20 minutes for a table, and after that, waiting for the staff and our order took quite a long time as well. Because of the strong and unpleasant smell inside, we chose to sit outside. The view is nice, so having a coffee there can be enjoyable. However, when it comes to the food, we were honestly disappointed. Based on the reviews, we tried the avocado sandwich, but it was very underwhelming for the price. The bread was too hard, and the avocado felt completely disconnected from the sandwich — almost like eating two separate things rather than a well-balanced dish. Nice for the view and a coffee, but I don’t see myself coming back specifically for the food, especially the sandwiches.
We had a lovely family breakfast here! We had to wait just a few minutes for our table, but it wasn’t long at all. The service was attentive and fairly quick — there were two or three ladies serving tables at the same time, and they handled everything smoothly. I had the Shakshuka, which I really liked — it was served in a bread-like bowl, which was a nice and tasty touch. My wife had the Eggs Benedict (with waffles instead of an English muffin) and really enjoyed it. My son went for the breakfast burrito, which was excellent. And my picky daughter finally decided on the açaí bowl with berries — and even she loved it! Overall, great food, friendly service, and a nice place for a relaxed family breakfast. Highly recommended!
