Bar where they speak Catalan, the hostess is very nice, good music
Very expensive!!! I walk past and think: wow! My favorite bar. I eat here. We have to preserve local commerce. At first, the waitress looks strange, as if trying to understand what you're doing there. I sit down and ask. A policeman asks to go to the bathroom. The answer of "yes" with a disgusted face and an attitude of contempt makes the policeman leave (I like that) with a pathetic excuse. The coffee is good. I ask for a top-up and... β¬1.85. β¬1.85!!!!! A cut, β¬1.85!!!!! One star just for the price.
Unfortunately, I have to say that the prices are incredible: β¬3 for a SMALL Coca-Cola and β¬3.90 for a tiny sandwich... a total of β¬6.90 for breakfast... great for those who like it, but there are definitely better options in the area.
Good service and friendliness from the staff. Sandwiches come in various sizes, including piccolos. I ordered tuna, and I think it could be better. The coffee was decent. The prices were good.
To begin with, the lady who serves you only speaks Catalan when you walk in, even when you speak to her in Spanish. At least out of consideration for other people who haven't been in this part of Catalonia for very long, if someone speaks to you in Spanish, you should at least respond in Spanish. Secondly, β¬3.20 for a regular coffee with milk and β¬3.30 for decaf??? Excuse me? Thank goodness they didn't charge me an extra 10 cents when I asked for warm milk. And the coffee with milk they served me wasn't very good either. Anyway. I hope you value comments like mine and correct your mistakes. Thank you.
