We got recommended by a local friend to come here. It is a **hidden gem**! Owners speak very limited English but are super friendly. We came here twice during our holiday and tried many different options from the counter. The overall vibe is super chill. You could also sit under the sunshine βοΈ We highly recommend the meatball, mussels (my personal favorite), and the sausage with source and mushrooms. Sometimes they also have fried meatballs on top of the counter. Definitely try them if you see new stuff!
We were impressed by the local restaurant. The food is high quality and cheap! I will definitely recommend anyone visiting La Sagrada Familia try this restaurant! My top recommendations are meatballs, Russian salad, croquettes, ham(it is delicious but also expensive).
We came to this bar for a quick lunch before visiting Sagrada Familia nearby. The place was nothing fancy but the faded 1996 Barcelona FC poster was the best demonstration of its taste and vibe. Much to our surprise, there were a couple of middle-to-old aged locals eating in the bar but there was no tourists except us although only 2 mins walk to one of the most famous place of interest in Barcelona. The boss spoke decent English. There was no menu. Dish explanation and order were verbally communicated. And since it wasnβt a weekend, there was less choices. Still, we didnβt quite understand what to order. So we just asked the boss to order for us. βMeat, seafood we all like. Just give us what the locals like.β And the boss happily obliged. He also suggested the homemade Vermouth, despite we didnβt ask for drinks. And we were like βSure!β. When the food came, it was one of the best dishes (not just tapas) we had in the journey. Itβs simple and sincere. Yes, sincere. There was nothing pretentious just every bit of a flavor that the neighbors enjoy. The meatballs were so good we ordered them again. And the vermouth upgraded the flavor to another level. We were able to fully focus on the food and the nicely made vermouth. The whole vibe and experience were really amazing if you are looking for something local.
One of our favourite bodegas in Barcelona and at an amazing location! The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly. They noticed we ran out of bread for one of our dishes and just offered some more for free! Definitely recommend anyone looking for some tapas and drinks!
Definitely hidden gem, much better than 90% of other tapas we tried. Staff is very nice and I recommend you to come during weekend because it has more varieties.
