Bar la Platjeta

This place is super tiny, they barely have 15 seats indoors so you have to be lucky to find space depending on the time. Wide variety of fishes and dishes in general. Food tasted fresh and authentic so definitely enjoyed it. They had a wide choice of wine and alcohol. Definitely recommend this place :)!

A favourite spot in La Barceloneta for some excellent food and drinks. Specialising in Galician and Andalusian food, their seafood is all very fresh and well prepared, and staff are friendly too. Gambas a la plancha, pimientos del padrón, boquerones fritos, pulpo a la gallega, bombas and chipirones a la andaluza are all stand outs. Expect ~€20 per person for lunch and a drink each

It is very tasty and soulful here. A small place with delicious food, affordable prices and not at all touristic. Here you can feel the atmosphere of real Barcelona, without the fuss and crowds of people. There are seats only inside, only a few tables. All dishes I have tried - are super tasty and fresh. I highly recommend it!

So...I was in the area and walking around to spit a place to eat. Don't want to go to a tourist trap, so I decided to go to this place where there are loads of local. The atmosphere is extremely authentic. Spanish music blasting in the background as the owner would dance every once in a while. Price was really competitive and the portion is quite large. Beer are cheap. And the owner welcome me in to his table when I am dinning by myself. Feel like I am really in Spain/ Catalonia with an authentic experience. Oh and the food is great. Infact I order too damn much.
