I've been a customer for years, and every time I go to Makas Love, I leave delighted. I've had various treatments like manicures, pedicures, eyebrow lamination, and waxing, and the results have always been fantastic. It's a pleasure to go there, both for the professionalism and the service: the owners and staff are top-notch. It's a place you always want to return to.

I've been to this salon twice: the first time in December and the second time yesterday, January 15th. I had the opportunity to try three of their services: a lash lift, brow lamination, and a facial ✨ I was thrilled. Today my skin feels incredibly soft and smooth!! A total disappointment! I used to go to this place regularly because a friend recommended their eyebrow threading, but I mainly went to their other location on Independencia Street, which used to have a different brand name. I'm sharing my experience with a picture from Makas's account, which used to have a different name, and where I confirmed my appointment. In the initial appointment I booked through their app, the eyebrow threading option wasn't listed, so I selected waxing. When I arrived, I told the girl I'd selected waxing because there was no thread option. She said it was no problem and started threading me. When I left and saw myself, I was devastated. It wasn't done properly, and it was clear the person who did it didn't know what they were doing. They left gaps in one of my eyebrows where the hair hasn't grown back yet. I immediately contacted their Instagram account, and they responded with an apology and gave me a new appointment at their Maragall location. They offered me a free appointment, and that was it. I went, they did a half-hearted job to "fix" it, which was impossible because I had to wait for the hair to grow back and take shape. And that was it. They never followed up or bothered to ask me if I had fixed it all year. What's more, I went back once, they charged me, and they didn't care about the state of my eyebrow. After damaging one of my eyebrows, which has taken months and months to heal, and it's still not the same, they simply didn't care and tried to show "interest" with one appointment that didn't solve the problem. I'm very disappointed because the service was good at first, but after this, it's impossible for me to return or recommend them to anyone else. I'm just frustrated by the terrible service and how my eyebrow is now, and they don't want to admit their mistake. After a year, I still have a gap in my eyebrow.
