I've eaten at yummy yummy many times. The food has always been good to just alright depending upon your order. I find their wet dishes e.g., soups and curries are generaly better. For a non specialized estabishment so near Khao San Road, (assuming you know the shortcut) the price is right. 60-100 to a dish.
Cheap Thai eats. Good food. Not much more you need. Decent selection, street style vendor with sitting room along the shoulder of the road. Great flavour.
Surprisingly low prices for delicious food in such a tourist place. In the photo coconut soup with tofu for 60 baht, I also had fried rice with shrimp and pineapple for 80 baht, everything was delicious and served instantly.
Awesome local jam near Khao San and Rambuttri street. We ate here almost everyday and for me this is the best local street food in Bangkok. Pad thai is sometimes too salted, but all in all so delicious. What ever you try from their menu is really good and with phenomenal taste. Also, they are very fast, and staff are kind. Warm recommendation.
Located in the back street walk ways its a great little place to come and try local food. Close to lots of restaurants and bars but not to busy like other areas. Make sure you stop and have something to eat and walk a little bit further and teach some locals how to speak English. Food is amazing and worth stopping by with lots to choose from the menu in English and Thai.
