Tom Guesthouse Cafe

This place is beautiful for breakfast and a few lattes. The staff are wonderful and beautiful. I can get a enjoyable smoke outside and like everything about it. I will return on my next visit ❤️

Not too shabby! Great location, basic, but sensible. I definitely recommend it for a night or 2. I'm visiting from USA.

I recently stayed a few weeks at Tom Guesthouse and would highly recommend this place to any travellers in Bangkok. The rooms are clean, quiet and the bed is comfortable. You receive 2 new bottles of water daily. The owners and their staff are so friendly and accommodating, I really enjoyed chatting with them and getting local advice from them. The guesthouse is well located, just 5min walk from One Bangkok. You can eat lunch and/or dinner there too. The food is delicious and fresh. For breakfast, you can walk to their restaurant, about 5min away, for either Thai or Western food at a reasonable price. You can wash your clothes for 30 baht (no dryer, line drying only). Thank you, for a very pleasant stay, and I hope to see you again soon!

This restaurant is where I passed by after my evening workout.It was almost 10p.m. and I was very hungry.This restaurant saved me😭 It’s locally owned,so the dishes are very authentic.But the prices a bit high. I like “stir fried morning glory”which was so fresh and crispy——made me feel in the morning（It was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo）.And chicken with egg rice also tasted good and it was perfect combination with vegetables. If the price were lower I will come here everyday!

I have been there to pick up my tourists so no comment on the room. Personally, I had quite a bad experience with this guesthouse because as a tour guide you need to be in advance to wait for your tourists, and then, this guest house is kind a restaurant downstairs and it' s closed in the morning, so no chairs, no place to sit nor place to be peaceful with the urgency 😅 Luckily that I can ask for the kindness from the hotel opposite site. Hence, the guesthouse staff that I met in the evening is quite friendly and at her good service. Hotel is located in the Silom area, so busy all the time. However, you can shortcut the traffic with the metro which station is not far as well. No parking available for the van to pick up, only collaboration with the tourguide by phone to quickly board in order to avoid blocking traffic.
