The Coffee Store Charoenkrung

We booked a 5-night stay here in the room above the coffee shop. The family were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and really tastefully decorated. It had a big AC unit too to help us sleep at night, needed in Bangkok! The family also prepared absolutely delicious local breakfasts for us and of course we had their coffee, which is absolutely outstanding. The neighbourhood is super cool and feels very local, and I absolutely couldn't recommend staying here enough.

The iced latte here is easily one of the best places in the city for excellent tasting coffee. The owner is very friendly and a coffee expert making it even better. The prices are very reasonable and it's in a great location too. Can highly recommend it.

This small and assuming coffee shop on the side of a very busy and loud road, is the essence of why I love Chinatown Bangkok. It’s a culmination of hectic/ calm/ quality. This isn’t some overpriced Instagram coffee spot. It’s a coffee place that really takes pride in the coffee that they make. Cold or hot, they have yet to disappoint. The owner Jak is incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with coffee and overall just great conversation. Every rating would be a 5/5 if people simply knew how to manage their expectations. We loved this unassuming, modern coffee store. The iced cappuccino is excellent. My only regret is that I didn't opt for the hot & cold coffee sampler. It's a great stop before taking in the Song Wat street art scene. ☕🍵🔥🧊

an unpretentious coffee bar with unpretentious price tag, as you know coffee can get pricey around this area. had an iced aeropress with beans from kenya roasted by a livid (a local bkk roaster), refreshing and light tomato flavor, balance and smooth. very enjoyable! it’s a nice place to chill and relax before heading to the buzzing, touristy side of town.
