Like finding an oasis in the middle of Bangkok’s beautiful chaos, the Starbucks at Old Siam is a perfect pause button on the day. The space is spread across two stories with plenty of seating, so it’s surprisingly easy to find a comfortable corner to relax, work, or simply cool down. The air-conditioning is gloriously refreshing, the coffee tastes exactly like the comforting classic you hoped for, and the atmosphere lets you watch the world drift by without being swept into the crowds. Staff were friendly, quick, and somehow managed to make the whole visit feel calm and unhurried—no small miracle in this part of the city. Whether you need a caffeine reset, a quiet break, or just a dependable Frappuccino moment, this spot absolutely delivers. Five stars without hesitation.

Plenty of seating and friendly staff with the service and the taste you’ve come to expect from Starbucks.

Location was easy to find. The staff were friendly and understood English . The place was clean and plenty of outlets.

The only star is for the staff. Other things are at extreme lows. Firstly, prices are too high. 150 bht for a cold brew? You can have a better coffee for 50 bht almost at any other cafe in BKK. Secondly, the place is freezing 🥶 cold. The AC is at its limits and it is blowing everywhere, so densely designed for AC blow at each person's face, there is no escape and it made me feel like a salmon in a trailer. Thirdly, the WiFi is slow at best. Lost connection more than a few times and it was also too slow while working. Overall, no Starbucks in BKK again. There are much better options out there!
