Welcoming coffeehouse with handcrafted coffee, espresso & tea, plus breakfast, lunch & pastries....
Food is terrible. We stopped by this place for a quick bite and ordered a sausage in dough. The sausage came in an inedible casing. So basically you have to bite off the dough, take the sausage out, peel it yourself, then put it back into the dough and eat it? Starbucks, seriously?
This is a great branch for the location and it’s relatively new. There’s also not many people here. But the barista named NOON has been consistently rude and even snapping at customers. I hope this gets resolved.
Seriously, Starbucks? Get It Together! I’ve been a loyal Starbucks customer for years. I’m talking Gold Status, loading up my account every month with more money than I’d care to admit. I practically live on your coffee. Not to mention, I’m a local business owner, I hold Starbucks shares in my investment portfolio, and my wife—who has over a million followers—could easily talk up (or talk down) any brand in the blink of an eye. But on February 28, around 6:30 PM, this particular Starbucks in Bangkok decided to treat us like we’d committed a crime against coffee by daring to bring in a few spoonfuls of ice cream. My family with my kids (three 9-year-olds, plus a 6-month-old) and a couple of friends had finished dinner at a fancy restaurant across the street (Opera). Naturally, we decided to show our loyalty to Starbucks—because, hey, I literally own part of the company—and come in for our post-dinner caffeine fix. We walk in, settle at a table, and I’m about to place a sizable order through the Starbucks app (again, Gold Member here, loaded card, ready to spend). But almost instantly, a barista rushes over to inform us that our kids’ tiny cups of ice cream are a violation of their “no outside food” policy. Really, Starbucks? You can’t let a few children finish off some mini scoops without going into meltdown mode? So there we were, banished to the curb like we’d just tried to smuggle in an entire buffet. The kids stood on the sidewalk, speed-eating their measly ice cream cups. Classy scene, right? I asked for the manager, and the barista pretended to make some epic phone call that miraculously led nowhere—no manager, no supervisor, no phone number to call. Eventually, because we still needed our coffee fix and had to wait for our taxi, we went back in and finally placed our order. But the damage was done. Starbucks, you seriously need to reevaluate your priorities if you’re willing to alienate a loyal, paying customer—who’s also an investor, by the way—just so you can flex a policy about not allowing four spoonfuls of outside ice cream. Newsflash: Your slogan proudly says, “Good things happen when we get together.” Or maybe it should read “Goof things” as printed on your cups, because you’re making a real goof of your own supposed welcoming policy. If this is how you treat the customers who literally fund your bottom line and invest in your brand, then I hate to imagine how you treat the average walk-in. Congratulations, Starbucks—you’ve officially lost not just a faithful, caffeine-addicted customer, but also a shareholder who was rooting for you. I’ll be selling my shares and removing your app, and I won’t be shy about telling my citywide network (and my wife’s million-plus followers) exactly how you turned a loyal patron into a disgruntled former fan. Keep treating families like a nuisance over a few bites of ice cream, and you’ll keep handing your competitors every opportunity to outshine you. Seriously, Starbucks? Get it together. Because if you can’t show basic courtesy to the people who want to give you their money—rather than the high-end restaurant across the street—then maybe it’s time to change your slogan to something a bit more honest.
Usual reliable standard here. Reasonably busy. A nice place to chillax away from the heat outside. I’ll come again for sure 😊
This is one of my favorite Starbucks near my condo. I really like this place, spacious and clean. Only request I have is air condition is too cold wherever I sit. It would be nice to install air blades or something to soften the cold wind from the ceiling. Other than that it’s a five star!
