The food is great. I've been here many times for the rice+3 dishes for 75 baht. There is also a menu and other combinations (rice+1 is 55 baht).
Amazingly delicious and healthy Thai food, for a super affordable price. It's located in Chinatown. I got my selection of sides and rice (pics below) for less than 100baht, it's basically a steal. Definitely would recommend to try if you are in the area.
The vegan Thai food here was excellent and very affordable. The food felt of high quality even tho some of the grilled items did look fried, still tasted great. The kitchen closes 15 minutes before closing time.
We are vegetarians and were looking for a good place to eat in Chinatown — that’s how we found SoVegan. The café is located on the second floor of a small complex. It’s a cozy, quiet place with around 6 tables. Some dishes are ready-made, and others are cooked fresh for you. The menu is quite large with plenty of options, and the prices are reasonable. We tried about four dishes, felt full, and everything was tasty and well balanced. The total was 398 THB — a bit more expensive than similar places we usually visit in Phuket, but still fair for Bangkok. Quality and taste were very good. We wanted to order Khao soi, but they didn’t have it ( and burger was a bit sweet The staff is friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. A great vegetarian/vegan alternative to street food and meat-based places in Chinatown. Thank you for the delicious food — highly recommended 🌱
I want to start by clarifying that this restaurant is located inside the mall— but don’t let that deter you! It’s an absolutely adorable spot that’s incredibly well run, and you can immediately tell how fresh everything is. I watched them chopping vegetables as they prepared our food, which was all made to order. We ordered three dishes: prawn pad Thai, basil pork, and a spicy noodle salad. Every single one was delicious, vibrant, and full of flavor—and the prices were incredible for the quality. They offer vegan versions of classic Thai dishes, including vegan prawns, which I haven’t seen anywhere else. We actually found this place after walking through the Chinatown night market and feeling a bit overwhelmed by the food options there since we couldn’t find any vegetarian choices. Stumbling upon this spot ended up being a total win, and I’m so glad we did. Highly recommend!
